In the past few weeks, the major auto insurance carriers that we work with have begun to release plans with ways to support their customers during this unprecedented time. They are putting their customers and our communities first and we are extremely PROUD to be their partners in insurance.
Carriers have responded to this crisis with rate decreases, refunds (and even charitable community donations), to help ease the burden that so many are facing. If you are curious about what your specific carrier is implementing, and how you will be impacted, click on their link below.
Erie Insurance: 30% Premium Refunds for personal and commercial auto policy holders for April and May + a long-term rate decrease and charitable donations given to insurance agencies to dispense in their community.
Grange Insurance: 25% premium payback to personal auto policy holders for April and May + grace period for late payments.
Donegal Insurance: Possible future rate decreases, but nothing specific determined as of 4/23/2020.
Progressive Insurance: 20% premium payback for personal auto policy holders for April and May + grace period for late payments (no late fees or cancellations through May 15, 2020).
Travelers Insurance: 15% premium payback for personal auto policy holders for April and May + billing relief.
MetLife Auto & Home: 15% of the monthly premium for the months of April and May. Utilizing the MetLife Foundation for charitable giving $25 million and also donating thousands of needed masks, sanitizers, and wipes.
Plymouth Rock: 25% premium credit on Liability and Personal Injury Coverages. Pay-It-Forward option to donate savings to non-profits. Comp/Collision deductible waivers for frontline healthcare workers if traveling to work. Payment flexibility and holds on non-pay cancellations.
Selective: 15% of the monthly premium for the months of April and May applied as a credit to each in-force personal and/or business auto policy as of 4/30/20 and 5/31/20. Relaxed due dates for premium payments, extended grace periods, waiving late fees and allowing payment plans to help maintain coverage.
Safeco: 15% premium payback for personal auto policy holders for two months + grace period for late payments (no late fees or cancellations through June 1, 2020).
